CHAPTER QUARTETS

Magic Quartet

For over 40 years, MAGIC has entertained audiences with music and magic throughout the upper Midwest. This year we are once again welcoming a new member to Magic - Greg Rosevold has taken the place of retiring Wayne Hughes on tenor - creating the fifteenth upgrade of MAGIC, or MAGIC XV. Greg will add some ‘sparkle and polish’ to the group, while Jeff Grimmer continues on lead, Stan Bruss sings bass, and Doug Peterson (His Wizardship, as he insists on being called) sings baritone and does the magic. Magic loves to entertain and is available for corporate events, private parties, chapter shows and other special occasions. Enjoy the Show!

Vintage Quartet

When chapter President Gary suggested that the Riverblenders needed a new quartet, Ron Meyer took him at his word. The next morning Ron contacted Jim, Dave and Arv to put a plan in motion. From their very first meeting the guys agreed that the sound was really quite good and they enjoyed each other’s company. With over 85 years combined barbershop experience and at Jim’s suggestion, they chose Vintage as their name. Much like fine wine, Vintage just seems to get better with time.

Ron Meyer (lead) is pretty much, but not quite, retired as a New York Life Agent, Jim Norman (tenor) is a retired City Administrator and hobby farmer, Dave Scott (bass) is a retired farmer and school bus driver, and Arv Zenk (baritone) is a retired Air Force officer and Taylor Corp business manager.

Vintage is a bunch of good guys who just love to sing and entertain you!
